A Skene bow chock is the standard solution for guiding mooring lines and dock lines over the bow or gunwale without chafing. The two outward-angled horns hold the line in place under load, preventing it from jumping off the fitting during docking or when lying at anchor. This one is cast from 316 stainless steel and mirror-polished — built to stay on deck permanently without rusting, pitting, or staining the gelcoat around it.
