A few days ago, it sat quietly on the floor of our workshop, freshly polished and waiting for shipment. Even after years of manufacturing marine hardware, moments like this still make us stop and take a second look.
At nearly 80 kilograms (176 lbs), this wasn't just another piece of marine equipment. Its mirror-polished surface reflected the workshop lights, the packaging materials around it, and even the people walking past. It looked less like a heavy-duty tool and more like a piece of industrial art.

Soon, it would leave our factory behind. Its destination? Vancouver Island, Canada. Its mission? To accompany its owner on an upcoming boating adventure to Haida Gwaii.
For those unfamiliar with the area, Haida Gwaii is often considered one of the most remarkable boating destinations in the Pacific Northwest. Located off the coast of British Columbia, the islands are famous for their rugged shorelines, secluded anchorages, ancient forests, and abundant wildlife. Boaters may encounter whales surfacing offshore, sea lions resting on rocky outcrops, and stretches of coastline untouched by modern development.
